Watermelon and Berry Fresca
from the kitchen of: Carmen Martinez When the weather starts to heat up, nothing cools you off like a chilled drink. Healthy, easily pre-pared, and delicious, this watermelon and berry fresca may well become your new favorite summer thirst quencher.

- 1½ pounds diced seedless or seeded watermelons (approximately 4-5 cups)
- 1 pint fresh rinsed raspberries
- 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 4 ice cubes
- Place all ingredients into a blender or juicer (Vitamix or Blendtec, for example) and mix until smooth. If desired, berry seeds can be strained. Adjust ingredients to taste.
