Norwegian cuisine in its traditional form is based largely on the raw materials readily available in Norway and its mountains, wilderness, and coast.
  • 3 c flour
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 4 tbs sugar
  • 6 tbs butter melted
  • 3 c milk
  • 4 eggs
  1. Preheat waffle iron. Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl. In another bowl, beat wet ingredients together. Add the liquid mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Spoon batter onto your waffle iron according to the manufacturer’s instructions and cook until golden brown. Repeat with the remaining batter, keeping cooked waffles warm until serving.
