Apple Yogurt Pancakes Recipe

Ingredients:

2 eggs, whole, raw, fresh
1 2/3 cups milk, reduced fat, fluid, 2% milkfat, with added vitamin a
1 (8-ounce) container yogurt, plain, low fat, 12 grams protein per 8 ounce
1/4 cup oil, vegetable corn, salad or cooking
2 1/2 cups wheat flour, white, all-purpose, enriched, bleached
1 teaspoon leavening agents, baking powder, double-acting, sodium aluminum
sulfate 1/2 teaspoon leavening agents, baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt, table
1 1/2 teaspoons spices, cinnamon, ground
1 apple, raw

Directions:

Step 1 In a large bowl, stir together the eggs, milk, yogurt, and oil until well blended. Combine the flour, baking
powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon, stir into the milk mixture until smooth. Fold in chopped apple.

Step 2 Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium-high heat. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle,
using approximately 1/4 cup for each cake. Cook until bubbles form in the cakes and the bottoms are golden
brown. Flip and cook the other side. Serve warm with syrup or jam.
