Calzone Filling

Ingredients:
1 c cooked and drained ground beef
1 c cooked and drained Italian sausage
8 oz tomato sauce
1 c grated Parmesan cheese
2 c grated mozzarella cheese divided
1/2 c chopped onion
1/2 c chopped green bell pepper
1/2 tsp Italian seasoning

Directions:

In a large bowl, mix all ingredients (except 1 cup of mozzarella) together. Stir well so all ingredients are coated with tomato sauce. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of the reserved cheese on top of each calzone’s filling prior to baking.
